  The food here is terrible.
  It's the same reoccurring choices almost everyday. They're also overpriced so you can definitely get more for your money off campus.
  Last year it wasn't that bad when they had steak and red mango but now they require freshmans to have swipe in for poor quality foods.

  There is a lot of bad to say about the SAC at the present moment. The bagels are so hard and old (always) you are likely to break a few teeth trying to get it down your throat. The food is overpriced and portion prices are small and the one thing I seriously HATE HATE is that whenever you ask the server for some more of what you're ordering, they become unpleasant, ignore you, or add so little it's like they didn't even do anything (women at the salad bar mostly). I AM a 5'4 & 115lbs and I don't eat a-lot so if I am complaining about the portion sizes there is certainly a big problem with this place.
  
  With that being said, this winter semester I have had an extremely pleasant and satisfying time at THE Grill. The men working this station deserve high praise. It's because of them that I am writing this review. I can honestly say that last week I've had the best simple burger in my entire life at THE Grill. The meat was grill to perfection, the toppings were extremely fresh and crisp. This burger was simply perfection. The only thing that would have made it better was if the buns were toasted. The hot-dogs are great too, and I would know and I get them very often with the works.
  
  The quality is definitely not the same during the spring and fall semesters but when it's good, it's extremely good here.

  Wow since I've wrote this review. The salad bar has seen a great improvement. The portion sizes have increased tremendously (I didn't have to beg for more ) the veggies were so fresh and the food server was pleasant squared. I am surprised and happy about these changes. Hats off to management and the server at the Salad bar today.

  Poor food quality and experience. Shame on SBU to be offering such food to its students.
